More free parking spaces added at several REM stations

More than nine months after the opening of the Deux-Montagnes branch, we conducted a review of actual parking usage. This has given us a clearer picture of user travel habits and parking needs. On this basis, parking will be adjusted at selection stations to provide more free spaces.  

Expanded free parking offering 

Therefore, paid parking spaces will be converted to free parking spaces at the following stations: Brossard, Bois-Franc, Sunnybrooke, Pierrefonds-Roxboro, Sainte-Dorothée and Grand-Moulin. A paid parking option will continue to be available for users who wish to secure a parking space. 

The implementation of these changes has already begun and will continue over the coming weeks, following the schedule below*. For more information, visit the relevant station access-by-car page:

• Sainte-Dorothée Station – August 25
• Pierrefonds-Roxboro Station – August 27
• Grand-Moulin Station – September 4

Changes to the paid parking offering 

Reserved spaces for monthly pass holders 

Located in dedicated areas and identified through on-site signage that will gradually be installed over the coming weeks. These spaces are intended to make parking access easier for pass holders. 

End of advance daily parking reservations 

Since early July, the option to reserve a parking space in advance for the day has no longer been available. Two parking reservation options remain available: 

• Monthly parking pass 
• Daily parking reservation made directly at the parking lot 

Panama Station

The parking lot expansion project at Panama station, launched in 2025, is now complete. As a result, on a date to be determined, the number of paid spaces will be restored to 75, while the number of free spaces will change to 360.
