Deviation of a section of Highway 10 East (toward Sherbrooke)

Beginning the night of September 21 and through 2021
South Shore

Where : Highway 10 East, toward Sherbrooke

Nature of the work

To create a safe work zone for building the elevated structure of the REM and station Du Quartier along the median of Highway 10, the traffic lanes of Highway 10 East must be rerouted downstream of Malo Avenue up to the intersection of the service road and the highway.

This deviation will take place on the two current service roads and on a new traffic lane that is built on an enlarged shoulder. This three-lane configuration will accommodate current traffic volume.

The deviation will commence the night of September 21 and will be fully effective as of September 24.

Impacts and mitigation measures

  • Signage will be installed to redirect traffic.
