Nature of the work
The work will involve carrying out geotechnical drilling to assess soil composition and resistance—a prerequisite to designing and constructing the REM infrastructure. The work will begin near the Highway 30 overpass and continue west up to Leduc Boulevard.
Impacts
To ensure the safety of the work team, the left lane of Highway 10 will be closed at night (between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.) on weekdays in both directions over a distance of 800 m.
- Signage will redirect traffic to the right lane.
- Obstructions will follow the advancement of the geotechnical campaign.
- There will be no traffic obstructions days and weekends.
