Alarm sound test in preparation for the launching gantry work

Nature of the work: 

In anticipation of the resumption of activities of the Anne the launching gantry, several maintenance operations are planned.
Among them, a test of the alarm installed above the launching gantry will be necessary. Subsequently, this alarm will be audible when the launching gantry is in operation for health and safety reasons.

This test will take place on March 22, 2022, between 9:00 and 11:00 pm.

Impacts and mitigation measures: 

The goal of the REM project office and the NouvLR consortium is to mitigate the impact on local residents and ensure everyone’s safety by taking all appropriate measures. 

• Noise will be generated by the test.
• The test will be conducted at night to ensure optimal calibration according to the ambient noise level. Noise levels will be monitored by our acoustics experts. Note that acoustical experts may need access to your back or front yards to measure noise levels.
