Automobile obstructions – Restoration work around Ville-de-Mont-Royal Station

Nature of the works : 

Restoration work is planned in the coming weeks in Town of Mount Royal’s downtown and will cause the following obstructions :

  • On September 28, 2024, for one day: Complete one-day obstruction of a section of Canora Road between Beverley Avenue and Regent Road.

    Located at the corner of Canora Road and Regent Road, trench excavation work is planned for the electrical supply of streetlights.

  • Monday, September 30, 2024, for 2 weeks: Complete two-week obstruction of Laird Boulevard between Regent Road and Canora Road.

     The restoration of the area will require formwork, concreting, and stripping work, as well as street marking

Local businesses will still be accessible to pedestrians via the sidewalks.

Impacts and mitigation measures : 

  • A one-day obstruction on a section of Canora Road and a two-week obstruction on Laird Boulevard will be necessary.
  • Noise, vibrations, and dust may be generated by this work.
