Construction activities
Nature of the work:
REM construction work will continue throughout 2022:
- Elevated structure construction using launching gantry Marie, and installation of the new railway infrastructure (rails, electrical system, etc.)
- Des Sources Station construction
In preparation for the construction of the Des Sources station, Des Sources Boulevard must be reconfigured to facilitate vehicle traffic around the station. The first step is to reconfigure a section of the Highway 40 East ramp to southbound Des Sources Boulevard.

Impacts and mitigation measures:
- Just as on any construction site, the work may cause noise, dust, vibrations and require trucking.
- Mitigation measures will be implemented as needed to mitigate impacts at the source (temporary noise barriers, low-noise equipment, white noise vehicles).
- Monitoring by environmental experts will take place throughout the work.
