Continued closure of the crossing under the REM tracks

Nature of the work : 

In order to finalize the construction of the REM infrastructure, finishing work is still required on the underpass as part of the process of handing over the site to the City.

To do this, we must maintain the closure of the path under the REM tracks linking Parc des Arbres to Parc des Rapides-du-Cheval-Blanc from Perron Street. We plan to fully demobilize our equipment and infrastructure in the fall of 2025.

 

Impacts and mitigations measures :  

  • Maintenance of the closure of the crossing under the REM tracks between Parc des Arbres and Parc des Rapides-du-Cheval-Blanc.
  • Occasional noise and vehicle traffic may occur near the work area.
  • The planting areas will remain temporarily marked to protect the vegetation.


While waiting for the completion of the work carried out by REM and the complete demobilization of the construction site, fences are installed around the construction and planting areas. Only workers and authorized personnel can access these areas.
