Nature of the work

Several works are taking place inside the railway right-of-way, between Sainte-Dorothée station and les Érables street, in order to rearrange the tracks for the REM.

Summer and fall 2021

Work along the railway right-of-way:

  • Excavation
  • Relocation of drainage pipes, fiber optics, etc.
  • Replacement of the right-of-way fence on the golf side
  • Backfilling
  • When replacing the fence, vegetation intermingled with the old fence shall be cut back (mainly on the golf side)
  • Like any construction site, the work can generate noise, dust, vibrations and trucking
