Partial obstruction - Anti-graffiti work and installation of noise barriers

Nature of work: 

Anti-graffiti work and the installation of noise barriers are planned for August under the structure of the REM railway tracks on Grenet Street and will cause a partial obstruction to traffic. Traffic will still be possible.

Depending on the progress of the work, there will be a closure of one southbound lane and then a northbound lane between Henri-Bourassa Boulevard from either Dudemaine or Ranger streets. A sidewalk will be opened on one side depending on the position of the obstruction. 
 

Impacts and mitigation measures : 

• A partial closure of the traffic lanes on Grenet Street will be necessary, but traffic will still be possible. 
• Maintaining an open sidewalk for pedestrians at all times on either side depending on the progress of the work.
• This work can generate noise and dust. Follow-up will be carried out by the environmental teams.
