Nature of the work

The work will involve carrying out geotechnical drilling to assess soil composition and resistance—a prerequisite to designing and constructing the various infrastructures. This important step will provide critical data that will help to guide NouvLR, the consortium entrusted with the REM’s construction, in designing the REM structures.

Impact

Closure of short stretches of Marc-Cantin Street:

• There will be alternating track closures, with only one closed at a time, to maintain the flow of traffic.
• Obstructions will follow the advancement of the geotechnical campaign.
• Signalmen will take turns directing traffic.
