Rehabilitation work of road access to Kirkland station

Nature of work :

Work to reconfigure access to REM's Kirkland station will begin on October 9 and will last approximately 3 weeks at the intersection of Chemin Ste-Marie and Rue de St-Tropez. The work involves reconfiguring the sidewalks for pedestrian access, the bus stop and the bike path.

Impacts and mitigation measures : 

The goal of the REM project office and the NouvLR consortium is to mitigate impacts on local residents and ensure the safety of all, by implementing appropriate measures. 

• Signage will be installed to ensure smooth traffic flow.
• Noise and dust may be generated by this work. Monitoring will be carried out by our environmental experts.
