
Utility relocation work, Highway 40 West service road, Pointe-Claire

Nature of the work
The work entails re-routing sanitary and storm sewer pipes as well as a water main.
The work will allow for sanitary and storm sewer pipes to be built. A complete closure of the right lane of the Highway 40 West service road, between Fairview Avenue and exit 50, will be necessary for this project.
A detour will be set up via Fairview Avenue and Charles E. Frosst Street.

Impacts and mitigation measures
As with any construction site, the work will generate impacts such as noise, vibration, dust, heavy truck traffic and traffic disruptions. Mitigation measures will be implemented to minimize these impacts. The REM project office and the NouvLR consortium will endeavour to prevent or minimize the impact on surrounding residents as much as possible and ensure safety by implementing all appropriate measures.
* Work before and after this time period will be necessary to mobilize and demobilize all the elements required to perform the work and to clean up the site.
