Sewer rehabilitation work on Chemin du Bord-de-l’Eau
Road
Nature of the work:
Sewer rehabilitation work is planned for the day of August 28 on Bord-de-l'Eau Road near the REM viaduct, resulting in a complete closure of traffic from 09:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by an alternating traffic barrier for the rest of the day.
Drivers are encouraged to use the detour road below during the day of August 28. A possible slowdown in circulation is expected in the afternoon when circulating alternately.
At all times, pedestrian and cyclist traffic will continue to be possible with flagmen.
Work might be postponed until August 29 in case of rain.
Impacts and mitigation measures:
The objective of the REM office project office and the NouvLR consortium is to mitigate the impacts on residents and to ensure the safety of all by implementing appropriate measures.
-
The work could cause noise, vibration and dust. To ensure compliance with the noise, vibration and air quality criteria to which the project is subject, environmental experts follow up.
The map below illustrates the recommended detour during the complete closure:
