Temporary street closure for the delivery of the REM electrical substation building

Nature of the work:

To continue the work required for the construction of the REM electrical substation, part of Montgomery Avenue will be closed between Chemin Dunkirk and Chemin Churchill to allow the delivery and installation of the two modules that make up the substation.

In addition, the Town of Mount Royal dog park will be closed on November 20 and 21 for safety reasons.

Depending on weather conditions, the closure could be postponed.

 

Impacts and mitigation measures:

  • The work will take place during the day, on the weekend, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.* For safety reasons, the building deliveries are scheduled between 2:00 and 4:00 a.m. This temporary closure will be in place on November 20 and 21.
  • Appropriate signage will be installed and detours will be provided.

 

*Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Work before and after this time period will be necessary to mobilize and demobilize all elements required to carry out the work and to clean up the site.
