
Update – Completion and opening of Montgomery Footbridge

Nature of work :
Following an agreement with the Town of Mount Royal, Projet REM has been able to carry out repair and modernization work on the Montgomery footbridge in recent months.
Starting the week of September 29, the teams will be busy with the final correction and finishing work for about 2 weeks. As soon as this work is completed, the footbridge will be open to the public.

Impacts and mitigation measures :
- Noise, vibrations, dust and trucking could be caused by this work, which will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
- Closure of a portion of Dunkirk Road, at the intersection with Montgomery Avenue. Access to the parking lots of the various establishments will be possible, with the exception of a portion of the Curling Club parking lot on the Dunkirk Road side which will be inaccessible.
- Adequate signage will be installed and flaggers will be on site to redirect vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
