Work on the Samuel De Champlain Bridge

Nature of work

Ultimately, the REM will operate on the central span of the Samuel De Champlain Bridge.

Construction work consists of installing the rails and all the systems that will allow the REM to travel on the middle of the bridge.

Impacts and mitigation measures 

• No roadblocks are planned for this portion of the work.
• Punctual obstructions could occur depending on the needs of the construction site.
