Works - Installation of the noise barrier

Construction activities
From January 20, 2025 to summer 2025.

Nature of work :

As planned by the modelling and noise analysis carried out prior to the REM's work, noise barrier equipment will therefore be installed on the railway embankment, in the REM right-of-way.

Note that pruning and cutting of trees on our right-of-way will be necessary in some places.
 

Schedule Work
Week of January 20, 2025, for one day Preparatory work. Pile testing in the embankment to validate the working method.
Winter to Summer 2025
  • Work for the foundations (vibratory drilling of piles).
  • Installation of noise cancelling equipment.

Impacts and mitigation measures :

  • Noise, vibrations and dust could be generated by this work. 
  • Environmental monitoring will be deployed by environmental experts.
