Development of the new Marc-Cantin Street
Nature of the work:
Marc-Cantin Street development work to continue until fall 2023. Upon completion, it will improve traffic flow to and from the Pointe-Saint-Charles business park and for residents living in the sector.

Here are the details of the upcoming work:

Other steps will follow for the completion of the work.
Impacts and mitigation measures:
- Some of the work will generate noise, dust, vibrations and truck traffic, which will be monitored by environmental experts. Mitigation measures will be implemented where possible.
- A number of traffic disruptions will be required during the day and night to carry out the work.
- Until end of winter 2023: maintaining a lane to the downtown area on Marc-Cantin Street
- From winter to fall 2023 : partial and complete closure of Marc-Cantin Street. An access road for employees to the Via Rail parking lot will be in place with a detour to Gaétan-Laberge Boulevard.
- Flaggers and appropriate signage will be used to redirect traffic.
- Access to businesses will be ensured throughout the work.
