Obstruction of Henri-Bourassa Boulevard - Public utility connection work

As part of the construction work on Du Ruisseau station, connection work will take place and a sewer will be installed at the intersection of Henri-Bourassa Boulevard West and Dutrisac Street. 

The work will result in a partial obstruction of Henri-Bourassa Boulevard West between Jules-Poitras Boulevard and Dutrisac Street. Car traffic will be maintained in both directions at all times. The obstruction will be in effect from November 26 to December 2.

Impacts and Mitigation Measures:

The goal of the REM project office and the NouvLR consortium is to mitigate the impact on local residents and ensure everyone’s safety by taking all appropriate measures. 

  • Partial lane closure on Henri-Bourassa Boulevard between Jules-Poitras Boulevard and Filion Street. Traffic in both directions and access to homes will be maintained at all times. 
  • There will be a detour to facilitate the flow of pedestrians and cyclists during the work.
  • This work may generate noise, vibrations and dust. 
  • The bus stop will be moved slightly outside the area that is obstructed.
