Dead-end of Graveline Street at the intersection of the old railway crossing

Nature of the work:

Due to the removal of level crossings along the entire REM route, Graveline Street will be permanently deadlocked as of August 25, 2022, to allow the REM to pass at ground level in this sector.

Access to residences located on Graveline Street will be via Bord-de-l'Eau Road. Pedestrians and cyclists will also be able to use the bicycle and pedestrian lanes on Avenue des Bois to travel on either side of the rail line.

Anticipated Impacts and Mitigation Measures:

• Mobilization will be done during daylight hours to avoid nighttime work that may generate noise for nearby residents.
• Variable message signs will be installed in the area. 
• Residences will remain accessible at all times.
