Work on the REM continues in 2023 with the construction of the station, the construction of the bus terminal and work along the railway right-of-way.

Construction of the overhead structure between Fairview-Pointe-Claire and Kirkland stations continues.
 

Impacts and mitigation measures:

• Just as on any construction site, the work may cause noise, dust, vibrations and require trucking.
• Mitigation measures will be implemented as needed to mitigate impacts at the source (temporary noise barriers, low-noise equipment, white noise vehicles).
• Monitoring by environmental experts will take place throughout the work.
