Night obstruction – Work to install bridge protection templates

Nature of work:

To ensure traffic flow and prevent potential collisions of vehicles that are too large with the bridge structure, REM will carry out work to install protective templates on each side of the viaduct on Marcel-Laurin Boulevard.

To do this, a complete night obstruction will be necessary on the nights of February 15 to 16, for 5 consecutive nights, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
 

Impacts and mitigation measures:

• Noise , trucking and dust may be noticeable. The teams have been made aware of the management of their equipment in order to minimize the potential impact.
• Adequate signage will be installed and flaggers will be on site to redirect vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
• An environmental monitoring will be deployed by environmental experts.
