Construction activities
During the week of Monday, July 8, 2024, for approximately one and a half weeks (depending on the weather conditions).

Nature of the work:
Tree planting activities carried out by the NouvLR consortium as part of the REM project took place near the Prairie River during the week of July 8, 2024.
Approximately 500 trees and 250 native shrubs characteristic of the region will be planted according to the municipal forestry orientations in terms of climate resilience.
These planting activities are part of the compensatory measures for the REM work and will be monitored environmentally for ten years.
Impacts and mitigation measures:

Pedestrian traffic on the foot paths should not be impacted.

Vehicle traffic is possible near the planting area.

Plantation areas will remain marked temporarily.
