Text message alerts are sent in the following situations:

  • Service interruption
  • Extended service interruption
  • Service slowdown
  • Gradual service resumption
  • Station not being served
  • Return to normal service
  • Elevator out of service and return to service

Do I need to click a link or reply to a text message to confirm my subscription?

Yes. After signing up, you will receive a text message containing a link to confirm your subscription. It is important to click on this link in order to receive text message alerts.

Why am I no longer receiving alerts?

You may no longer receive alerts if your phone number has been placed “in quarantine” or if your carrier has flagged the messages as spam. Also check your preferences to make sure you’re subscribed to the correct stations, days of the week, and time periods.

What should I do if I still don’t receive text messages?

If you haven’t received a text message, your number may have been placed in quarantine after several undelivered messages (for example, while traveling). Contact us to have it removed. It’s also possible that your carrier has marked the messages as spam. Check your Spam folder in your messaging app and unblock the sender.
