Virtual unveiling of the first REM cars

The Réseau express métropolitain (REM) project office invites you to attend the official unveiling of the first REM cars on Facebook Live on Monday, November 16 starting at 9:15 a.m.

We are proud to invite you to join us and our partners NouvLR and GPMM to mark this major milestone of the project, as the infrastructure on the South Shore welcomes the first REM cars in Brossard’s maintenance and control centre. Discover for the first time your new fully automated light rail system that will contribute to the growth of mobility in greater Montréal! After consulting you, the Saint-Laurent model chosen by the public is finally revealed. 

This unique digital unveiling will also mark the kick-off of the trial period of all components of the REM’s automated system. Keep an eye out this fall, and you'll be able to see the cars travel along a 3.5-km segment of the South Shore route between the Brossard terminal station and Milan Boulevard.
