Obstruction at the intersection of Sainte-Marie Road and Morgan Boulevard

Nature of the work 

To facilitate the construction of a bike path, a blockade will be set up at the intersection of Sainte-Marie Road and Morgan Boulevard for one week. The left turn onto Morgan Boulevard heading south towards Highway 40 will be prohibited. A detour will be in place. 

The work is schedule from July 2 to July 8, 2024. 

Impacts and mitigation measures : 

The objective of the REM project office and the NouvLR consortium is to mitigate the impacts on residents and ensure the safety of everyone by implementing appropriate measures. 

•  During the construction, at the intersection of Sainte-Marie Road and Morgan Boulevard, the left turn onto Morgan Boulevard heading south towards Highway 40 will be prohibited.
• A detour route will be established, and adequate signage will be installed to inform motorists and truck drivers.
• Noise, dust, and truck traffic will be generated by these works.
