Nature of work :
Following an agreement with the Town of Mount Royal, Projet REM will carry out repair and modernization work on the Montgomery footbridge. On-site mobilization of construction facilities will begin the week of February 17.
The Montgomery footbridge will be inaccessible from February 24 until the summer of 2025.
Below is a summary schedule of the expected work:

Impacts et mitigation measures:
- Noise, vibrations, dust and trucking could be caused by this work, which will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
- Complete closure of the Montgomery footbridge as of February 24 and one-way traffic on Dunkirk Road between Montgomery and Glencoe avenues.
- Closure of a portion of Dunkirk Road, between Montgomery and Roosevelt Avenues. However, access to the parking lots of the various establishments will be possible, with the exception of the Curling Club parking lot on the Dunkirk Road side which will be inaccessible.
- Adequate signage will be installed and flaggers will be on site to redirect vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
- Environmental monitoring will be deployed by environmental experts.
- Appropriate mitigation measures will be put in place when necessary.
