Nature of work
To continue construction of the Édouard Montpetit station, the next step is to connect the station to the various municipal networks. This will require a three-week shutdown starting July 3rd, 2023.
Impacts and mitigation measures
- This work will be carried out in several phases and will require a complete closure of avenue Vincent-d'Indy between avenue. Perham and boulevard Mont-Royal. Appropriate signage will be in place to indicate the detours to pedestrians and motorists. The planned detours will also be located on avenue Claude-Champagne to the north and avenue Decelles to the south.
- Noise, vibrations and dust may be generated by this work. Mitigation measures and regular expert monitoring will be put in place.
- Detours will be in place for pedestrians and cyclists during the construction period.
- Bus stops can be relocated by the STM.
