Significant traffic pattern disruptions – Concreting of the deck for the elevated structure near Malo/Leduc

Road  | Major  | During the night only
December 5 and 9 (depending on meteorological conditions) From 8.p.m. to 5 a.m.
South Shore

Nature of the work

Concreting work will be undertaken on the elevated structure in the Malo/Leduc sector on December 5 and 9, between 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., depending on metereological conditions. Work will be carried out on Highway 10 between Leduc Boulevard and Malo Avenue.

Several significant traffic pattern disruptions will take place during this work. During that period, we recommended seeking an alternate route if at all possible.

Impacts and mitigation measures

Several significant traffic pattern disruptions will take place simultaneously:

  • Highway 10 West will be completely closed to traffic from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. between the Highway 10 West service road access ramp and Milan Boulevard.
  • Leduc Boulevard will also need to be completely closed to traffic from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., between Lapinière Boulevard and the Bell sports complex during this work.
  • Malo Avenue will continue to be completely closed to traffic.
  • Appropriate signage will be installed and detours will be available:
    • For Highway 10 West: the detour will run on Lapinière Boulevard to the Milan access ramp for Highway 10.
    • For Leduc Boulevard: the detour will run the Du Quartier overpass.
  • This work will generate noise and dust. Environmental experts will monitor noise and air quality to ensure that project criteria are met. Additional mitigation measures may be implemented if necessary.

The map below indicates the proposed detours:

*Dates are subject to change depending on meteorological conditions. Due to the nature of the activities being performed, work cannot be interrupted while it is in progress, and must be completed to maintain integrity of the existing infrastructure. Should this situation arise, the work period will be extended to complete the work already begun.
