Occasional obstructions on the bike path

Nature of work : 
 

As part of the work to lower les Érables Street, occasional obstructions to pedestrian and cyclist traffic are to be expected at the south end of the Grand-Moulin dam on the Laval side.

These obstructions, located in a temporary work zone, may cause a short waiting time due to truck traffic and material transportation. Flagmen will be in place to ensure safety and control traffic.

Impacts and Mitigation Measures  :

• Pedestrian and bicycle traffic will remain possible during the work between Deux-Montagnes and Laval West;
• Noise and dust will be generated by this work. In order to ensure compliance with the noise and air quality criteria to which the project is subject, a follow-up will be carried out by environmental experts throughout the work. Mitigation measures may be put in place if necessary.
