Construction of retaining walls east of 11th Avenue

Nature of the work:

Construction of the elevated structure is progressing and the next step is to build the side walls that will support the ends of the structure. This work will begin in mid-May 2022 and continue for about 3 months.

The map below shows the location of the retaining walls. These walls provide a safe transition between the ground and the elevated structure.

Impacts and mitigation measures:

• This work will generate noise, dust and vibrations. Environmental specialists will monitor the project to ensure that it complies with applicable noise, air quality and vibration criteria. The mitigation measures in place will be maintained until the end of the work to limit its impacts.
• 11th Avenue will remain accessible to car and pedestrian traffic.
