Obstruction – Work to install a bridge protection template

Nature of work : 

To ensure traffic flow and prevent potential collisions of vehicles that are too large with the structure of the bridge, REM will carry out work to install a protective template that will be placed upstream on Chemin du Tour.

To do this, work will be necessary for about 5 weeks and will require a complete obstruction of a portion of the Chemin du Tour. It should be noted that at no time will access to nearby residences be restricted.

Impacts and mitigation measures : 

• Noise, trucking and dust may be noticeable. The teams have been made aware of the management of their equipment in order to minimize the potential impact.
• Adequate signage will be in place to clearly indicate the detour route.
• An environmental monitoring will be deployed by environmental experts.
