Painting of the overhead structure - Reduction of one lane of vehicular traffic while maintaining one lane in both directions

Nature of Work:

Due to the need to perform painting of the overhead structure above Avenue des Bois, a one-lane reduction in traffic is required at the overpass to perform painting from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. until the end of July 2022. Vehicular traffic will be maintained in both directions. 

Signage will be adjusted to allow pedestrian and bicycle traffic in both directions to minimize traffic impacts.

Impacts and Mitigation Measures:

The objective of the REM project office and the NouvLR consortium is to mitigate the impacts on local residents and to ensure the safety of all by implementing appropriate measures.

• The mobilization will be done during the day in order to avoid night work that could generate noise for nearby residents.
• Work will be carried out by reducing one lane to minimize the impact on traffic.
