Nature of work:
To allow for the installation and connection of a new aqueduct, a partial obstruction of boul. Alfred Nobel is necessary. The northbound lane (towards Autoroute 40) will be closed between rue Frederick Banting and av. Marie Curie.
This closure will begin on October 4, 2023, and will last approximately 4 weeks.
Impacts and mitigation measures :
The goal of the REM project office and the NouvLR consortium is to mitigate the impacts on local residents and ensure everyone's safety, by implementing appropriate measures.
- Closure of the northbound lane on boul. Alfred Nobel, between av. Marie Curie and rue Frederick Banting.
- A detour route will be set up via rue Frederick Banting and av. Marie Curie to maintain traffic flow in the area. Appropriate signage will be installed to inform motorists.
- Noise, dust and truck traffic will be generated by this work.
