In 2021, a new track will be added to double the existing rail bridge. In addition, the existing bridge will be disassembled and rebuilt to ensure its strength for the next 100 years.

Construction of the new track to double the bridge:

  • Installation of abutments

  • Installation of beams (between the pillars)

 

Starting August 2021

Disassembly and reconstruction of the existing bridge

  • Partial disassembly of the structure

  • Reconstruction of the new bridge and assembly of the parts

  • The disassembly will be done with a device called "launcher"
