Restoration work in the 9th Avenue area

Nature of work:
Rehabilitation work on 9th Avenue will take place from August 14 to 18, 2023. The work consists of consolidating the drainage system and pavement structure, building curbs and final paving of the avenue.

Automobile traffic will be restricted during the work from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., while pedestrian traffic will be permitted. Local traffic and access to residences will remain possible outside these hours. 

Impacts and mitigation measures : 
The goal of the REM project office and the NouvLR consortium is to mitigate impacts on local residents and ensure the safety of all, by implementing appropriate measures. 

• Parking spaces will be marked out and made available on the NouvLR site at Grand-Moulin station to allow residents to park during the work.
• Noise will be generated by the work. Monitoring will be carried out by our environmental experts.
