Work to pour the concrete slab for the new Canora Station

Construction activities
October 16, will continue the following week 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. but may continue into the evening
Centre of Montréal

Where : Canora station

Nature of the work

Concrete work is scheduled for October 15 to pour the concrete slab that will constitute the foundation of the new entrance plaza of Canora station.

Concrete finishing work will take place in the afternoon and must continue until the work is completed, possibly extending into evening hours.

During the week of October 22, the concrete slab for the station's upper deck will also be poured. This work will begin very early and could continue late into the evening, with the pouring and finishing of the concrete having to be completed to ensure the integrity of the structure.

Impacts and mitigation measures :

The work will generate noise, vibrations and dust. In the event that work extends into evening hours, lighting will need to be set up. Environmental experts will monitor noise to ensure project criteria are met.

Due to the nature of the activities being performed, work cannot be interrupted while it is in progress; it must be completed so as to maintain the integrity of the existing infrastructure. Should this situation arise, the work period will be extended to complete the work already begun.
