REM commissioning: a contest to be among the first on board

CDPQ Infra is launching today a public contest to give more than 100 people the chance to be among the first ones to board the Réseau express métropolitain (REM). 

A ceremonial inauguration event will take place on Friday, July 28, prior to the general public opening. On this day, a group of just over one hundred users will be invited to experience a first ride from Gare Centrale to Brossard. 

For a chance to win, the public is invited to test its knowledge of the project by taking a quiz at lequizdurem.com. From key project dates to a few questions on REM technology, design and service, all the answers are available online on the new transportation network's website: REM.info. 

Until July 20, all those who take part in the quiz will have the chance to win one of the tickets drawn randomly to go on board with a guest of their choice. The winning cohort will also be presented with the REM's inaugural jersey and will make the full travel in the company of experts who have contributed to the realization of this major project.
