Will there be pedestrian and bicycle access between Île Bigras and Île de Montréal?

A brand new bridge is being built between Montreal and Laval to ensure the safe passage of the REM. Since the old railway bridge will no longer be used for public transit, this infrastructure could potentially be used as a bicycle path. REM has offered this former railway infrastructure to the municipalities concerned so that they can develop a project that will allow cycling and pedestrian traffic between Montreal and Laval. Once the analyses on this subject are completed, we will know more about the future of the former railway bridge.
