Hedge trimming and temporary removal of fence

Nature of work:

In preparation for the construction of the pedestrian walkway linking rue Cérès to the future Sunnybrooke station of the REM (Réseau express métropolitain), hedge trimming, and fence replacement work is scheduled for the week of Monday, October 09 2023. 

A temporary construction fence will then be installed, followed by the permanent installation of a "frost" type fence in the spring of 2024. 

The permanent fence will be installed within the boundaries of the REM site.

Impact and mitigation measures : 

• Pruning work will be supervised by a team of environmental professionals. 
• Whenever possible, the NouvLR consortium's work method will be adjusted to limit cutting to the minimum required.
• This work will generate significant noise. Monitoring will be carried out by our environmental experts.
