Where: on land between Sainte-Marie Road and Highway 40 near the Coliseum and Timberlea District.

 

Nature of the work

The work will involve a series of steps to determine soil stability and reaction under different loads. This important exercise requires the construction of two piles over a two-week period. The tests will be conducted approximately three weeks after their construction. The NouvLR team and their installations will be in place for five weeks.

 

Impact

  • Traffic: short-term obstacles are to be expected on the Sainte-Marie road, outside of rush hours.
  • A truck with signage, signs and signalers will direct the traffic.
  • Noise: this identification campaign can generate intermittent noise.
