Temporary obstructions on De Gaspé Street - Occasional installation of a crane

Nature of the work:

In order to allow the installation of the walls and other components of Sunnybrooke station, the construction crews will establish a secure area on a portion of De Gaspé Street without impacting vehicular traffic to proceed with the installation of a crane.

Please note that the crane will be assembled and disassembled several times from January 16 to May 2023, depending on the operational needs of the construction site. Truck deliveries of materials, scheduled during off-peak hours, will also be planned during the days when the crane is in operation. Flagmen will be on duty during these deliveries to ensure pedestrian safety.

Impacts and Mitigation Measures:

  • Noise and trucking may be generated by this work.
  • Access to residences will be maintained during the work.
  • A partial obstruction of the De Gaspé Street round-about will be necessary to secure the site.
