Can I take my bike on the REM during the Tour la Nuit and Tour de l’Île?
Yes, the REM will be implementing various measures during these two events to make it easier for participants from the South Shore to get to the starting points by bike.
Bikes welcome during the Tour la Nuit and Tour de l’Île
For the Tour la Nuit and Tour de l’Île, REM will make it easier for South Shore cyclists to get to the starting points for both of these events. REM employees will be on hand at the stations to guide you, more bikes will be allowed in the cars at the same time, and service frequency will be increased. Long REM trains will also be running all day on Sunday, June 2. However, tandem bikes, tricycles and trailers are prohibited.
Tips for getting around the network during the Tour la Nuit and Tour de l’Île:
- Follow the instructions of station employees
- Use elevators to reach boarding platforms
- Do not ride your bike in the station
- Look for available space in cars
- Keep your bike close to you at all times
REM would like to remind cyclists that in the event of an evacuation, bikes must remain inside cars to ensure the safety of riders.
