Official opening of 14 new REM stations between downtown Montréal and Deux-Montagnes
Starting today, you can officially travel on the REM from Montréal’s South Shore to the North Shore.
A look back at the inauguration
On Friday, November 14, Charles Emond, President and Chief Executive Officer of La Caisse, and Jean-Marc Arbaud, President and Chief Executive Officer of CDPQ Infra, inaugurated the 14 new REM stations during an official ceremony held at Deux-Montagnes station. The Honourable Mark Carney, Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. François Legault, Premier of Québec, and Ms. Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Mayor of Montréal, were among those present to mark this important milestone.
During the open house on November 15 and 16, more than 250,000 people came to visit the new stations as part of the celebrations.
The REM operations team, Pulsar, is ready to welcome you to your new stations as you travel.
Welcome aboard!
