Summer 2026: Late openings on the network on weekends
Late openings of the network are scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays, from June 6 to August 16, to allow for various testing phases and essential maintenance work in preparation for the airport extension.
During this period, the first REM run from 7:30 a.m. on Saturdays, while service starts at 7:30 a.m. or at noon on Sundays, depending on work taking place on the network or closures of the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge. Please note that service will also exceptionally begin at noon on Wednesday, July 1.
Detailed schedule
We invite you to plan your trips for these dates, using your favorite trip planner. Alternative transportation options will be offered by our partners. Schedules for late openings are subject to change.
For more information on upcoming late openings, please visit our Planned Service Interruptions page.
Why are openings delayed?
These schedule adjustments are necessary to allow work that requires more time than the regular operating schedule permits, as Pulsar’s maintenance teams typically have only four hours per night to work on the network.
These extended time windows will make it possible to:
- Advance work to connect the airport branch
- Carry out maintenance operations on the network
- Complete work during periods of generally lower ridership
